You will find your three year old child is now moving from parallel play (playing beside other children) to more interactive play.  At this age they will start to begin to bring what they have seen and experienced in daily life, or heard in stories, into their play through imagination.  Here is where real open-ended play begins as they use blocks, playsilks and animals to create and build worlds that bring a greater understanding of themselves and their place in the world.
